I see that some people were still on here, contributing. That's great!
Here's some outside reading for people still making their way through Persona 3.
I wrote this piece on my own site, talking about how the gameplay of Persona 3 is inextricable from its narrative in how it advances themes, particularly the concept of free will:

This piece on how most MegaTen games (including Persona) are about how we converse with game systems themselves is the key to understanding their best titles, Persona 3 included. Their site is down as I write this, but they're a great location for criticism.
