I would really like to play Deus Ex, but my main computer is a Mac and I have not been able to successfully run Boot Camp on it in nearly a year. I am aware that there is a Mac version of Deus Ex, but how does it compare to the Windows version? Does it run as smoothly?
On a related note, have there been any whisperings of a commemorative remake of the game to coincide with Square Enix's upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution? I wonder whether that will be the case, because needless to say, if it is I will probably wait and get that.

Don't wait for the remake. Play the original, warts and all.
As far as I know, the Mac version is a perfectly competent port.
